We’re doing a Daniels tribute, the directing duo behind Swiss Army Man (2016). These weird dudes also made a bunch of fun shorts and the epic music video for DJ Snake/Lil Jon’s Turn Down for What (2013) which is bananas and makes me laugh every single time. We’ll be showing their short Interesting Ball and few other things they’ve made. The feature will start around 9pm. We’re so excited about this one!

Bring a blanket or pillow for your butts. Doors open at 7pm. Snacks provided!

We're finally hosting what will hopefully be the first of many Bring Your Own Crafts nights! Bring whatever you're currently working on, dig up that unfinished weaving from the back of your closet or just come to color on some printer paper.

Make something super ugly to get it out of your system so you can start working on your masterpiece or maybe start your masterpiece. Creating in a vacuum sucks so stop hiding away at your home studio. No judgment or explaining yourself just some good fun with the craft of your choice.

We'll have a stack of mags for collaging and feel free to bring stuff to share!

Light snacks will be provided and you can bring drinks to sip on.

NEVER FOR NOTHING :: NEW COLLAGES BY ZACH MOLDOF

NEVER FOR NOTHING :: NEW COLLAGES BY ZACH MOLDOF

You're all invited to attend the opening night of Zach Moldof's solo collage show entitled "Never for Nothing"!! There will be original pieces for sale along with prints, zines, tees! We're very excited!

Here's a lil' write up:

Zach Moldof is an artist and entrepreneur from Broward County, Florida. In his tireless pursuit of endless fun, and a better self-making better art he has lived in: Orlando, New York City, Oakland, Humboldt, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

His visual art covers illustration, collage, assemblage, design, and photography. Zach's work combines precise articulations of imaginary concepts, unique found objects, and transcendent absurdity, in a practice informed by exceptional life experiences. His work is inspired by a dialogue with artists like Robert Rauschenberg, Hannah Höch, Ray Johnson, Marcel Duchamp, Marcel Broodthaers, Vito Acconci, and John Cage.

With nearly half his life spent refining his craft Zach is a rare millennial artist. He is old enough to remember art being obscure and young enough to be part of the omnipresent cultures of the internet. His array of strange creations depict the world from an incalculable vantage. From this observation point the audience is invited to reach out and touch something impossible, or merely gawk at something bizarre. Regardless of what people may or may not feel when they look at Zach's art, the only thing he intends is for them to question something.

HEALING & INTENTION SETTING

Join Michelle D'Avella of Pushing Beauty in this is a powerful workshop for learning to get out of your head and connected to your intuition. You'll learn how to use your breath to heal and connect to your body as well as an introduction to The Desire Map to set clear intentions for your life.
